The Gift of Prophecy

Sometimes blows chunks!

Four hours after I wrote my "Restless" post, both Deb and I were laid off from our jobs. With a wedding to plan, a mortgage and rent to pay, as well as the normal bills one has to pay, things are a little tight right now.

The cross has come.

Both Deb and I have reworked our resumes, contacted people in our personal and professional networks, and have started looking at jobs. We already have some irons in the fire (two prospects that look promising) and remain hopeful.

We know that this moment is an opportunity to surrender ourselves to the gracious Will of God, but of course, your positive thoughts and prayers are most welcome.

I'm praying for you and your fiance.

As you know, both you and Deb are in Michelle and my thoughts and prayers.

Peace be with you my brother from another mother...and good luck on your continued search.

Thanks Larry, Lou, and Michelle. I already have 1 interview scheduled, and the possibility of a few more. The trick is to discern where I'm truly being called. I am grateful for your support. At times like this, the "communion of saints" is pretty darn cool.
